Further to our previous advices that iCare had announced a Builders Warranty Premium increase effective 1st July 2018, we were advised at 5pm on Friday 29th June 2018 that the premium increase has been delayed until 2nd October 2018.
We were not aware of the delay to the premium increase until we received the email at 5pm last Friday 29th June 2018.
icare HBCF advised in their email:
icare HBCF has deferred the required premium increases to Home Warranty Insurance scheduled for 1 July 2018 until 2 October 2018. We have listened to feedback from our customers and understand more time is required for some participants to fully enact the changes. We will continue to work with industry to ensure they continue to be provided ample time to accommodate future changes to Home Warranty Insurance.

icare HBCF have advised they will not be contacting builders directly to advise of the change and have requested that we as your broker communicate the delay to you.
